Cindy Hansen (she/her) is an interdisciplinary theatre artist, musician, and educator born and raised in the great state of Minnesota. A recent graduate from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, Cindy holds a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Dance.

On the stage, Cindy has performed all around Minnesota. Recent credits include Cinderella and 9 to 5 at the Duluth Playhouse, Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812 (Sonya), and The 25th Annual...Spelling Bee (Olive), and the Minnesota Fringe Festival.

Cindy's music background came well before she ever first stepped on stage. She has over ten years of violin experience, as well as a love for acoustic & electric guitar. Her instruments have performed alongside her in various productions such as ....The Great Comet of 1812 (violin), upcoming in Terce at Theatre Elision this spring (acoustic & electric guitar), Valleyfair Entertainment (guitarist), as well as a handful of cabarets and other live events.

Recently, Cindy had the opportunity to work for Walt Disney World on Magic Kingdom's Guest Flow team. Working alongside the Entertainment department, Cindy was on crew for some of Disney's most iconic entertainment offerings including Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas Time Parade, the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, and their brand new night parade Starlight: Dream The Night Away.

 

​Cindy has returned to Minneapolis, and is currently private music instructor in the NW suburbs, where she teaches guitar and violin. She loves her dogs, crocheting, seeing live music, and she's probably listening to One Direction right now.
